  Sophie Reitermann has always had Art present in her life. He is a full-time plastic artist, with a 7-year career, his works portray his love for nature and its diverse fauna. Influenced by Realist Art, Sophie creates works using different techniques,  such as graphite pencil, colored pencil, acrylic paint and watercolor.

​

  Since she was a little girl, Sophie has always had a huge admiration for nature and its animals. He always grew up with pets, they are his energy, happiness and love recharge. Knowing how much a pet does us good and the enormous love we have for them, which unfortunately do not live as long as we do, we suffer when they become little angels, so the idea of being able to immortalize this love we have for them in the form of art.

 

  Animals are her main theme and source of inspiration. There have been more than 400 works of Pets portrayed by the artist. Sophie has works in private collections in countries such as Brazil, United States, England, France, Germany, Portugal, Japan, Switzerland and Hong Kong.

​

  In her works, Sophie makes a light reflection on nature and the way we treat it. Since starting her artistic career, she has helped elephants at the Elephant Sanctuary, animals in Australia by Wildlife Victoria, the David Shepherd foundation, which helps endangered animals and build schools in needy cities, and dog and cat shelters.  ;

 

 "I make art with love, for the love of animals. It's only fair that I give back by caring for and protecting those who inspire me daily."
